A Delegation of the Western American Diocese Departs for Moscow
A delegation of the Diocese of San Francisco and Western America, headed by His Grace Bishop Theodosius of Seattle, Protopriest Alexander Lebedeff and Protopriest Peter Perekrestov departed for Moscow on January 27, 2011, to attend celebrations on the second anniversary of the enthronement of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia. Vladyka Theodosius will also participate in the Council of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church, and Fr Alexander and Fr Peter will partake in a plenary session of the Inter-Council Presence of the Russian Orthodox Church. His Eminence Archbishop Kyrill of San Francisco and Western America will not attend the Council of Bishops for reasons of health.
