Your Grace:

Christ is Risen!

I wholeheartedly congratulate you on this important date, the 10th anniversary of your consecration to the episcopacy.

Divine Grace made you a successor of the messengers of the Lord, whom God “also hath made able ministers of the new testament, not of the letter, but of the spirit” (2 Corinthians 3:6). Since then, you have earnestly and with love carried out all the various obediences as the Vicar of the Diocese of Berlin and Germany.

Your archpastoral labors in the harvest-fields of Christ bear witness that you are a kind assistant to your ruling bishop, a pious monk and an active clergyman at the altar of the Lord.

May the All-generous Master of the Heavens and Earth grant you strength, spiritual joy and all that is good and necessary for you to further bear the cross of the Apostolic service.
