The Monks and Pilgrims of Holy Cross Monastery Mark its 25th Anniversary

On Sunday, October 2, 2011, the Sunday after the Elevation of the Cross of the Lord, His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, officiated at an outdoor Divine Liturgy at Holy Cross Monastery in Wayne, WV. His Eminence was joined by His Grace Bishop George of Mayfield, the Abbot of the monastery; its Prior, Hegumen Seraphim; representatives of other Local Orthodox Churches; the monastic brethren clerics and visiting clergymen. Three chalices were used to administer Holy Communion to the many attending worshipers.
