The Synodal Residence of the First Hierarch of Russian Church Abroad Will Host a Youth Symposium

On Saturday, October 15, 2011, a youth symposium will be held at the residence of the First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia devoted to missionary service. The symposium is being organized by the Synodal Youth Department. The main speaker will be Hieromonk Cyprian (Alexandrou), the Dean of Holy Trinity Seminary in Jordanville, NY.

The participants in the symposium will have the opportunity to venerate the relics of St Innocent, Equal-to-the-Apostles, Metropolitan of Moscow and Kolomensk, the Illuminator of America, and to socialize with other Orthodox youth. At the end of the discussions, a barbecue will be offered. The young participants will have the opportunity to sing and read at all-night vigil that will follow.
