Young Parishioners of the Russian Church Abroad in New York Launch the Website “Awakening”

A new website, Probuzhdeniye [Awakening] has been launched in May, 2012, by a group of young parishioners in New York City. Their site was created with the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia. The purpose of this project is to spread the Orthodox Gospel to all Russian people in Russia and abroad alike, as well as to people of all nationalities and cultures without exception. This website is a place where Orthodox and those interested in Orthodoxy may learn about Orthodox faith, about the faith that remains unchanged in the ocean of opinion.
