The Second SS Cyril and Athanasius of Alexandria Institute for Orthodox Studies Symposium To Be Held in the Western American Diocese
From February 16-17, 2013, the Old Cathedral of the Mother of God "Joy of All Who Sorrow" in San Francisco (Fulton Street) will host the Second Regional Symposium of the SS Cyril and Athanasius of Alexandria Institute for Orthodox Studies. The theme will be "Prayer in the Works of the Holy Fathers." The main speaker will be His Eminence Metropolitan Kallistos (Ware). For further information, visit the official website of the Institute.
On Friday, February 15, the feast of the Presentation of the Lord in the Temple, Metropolitan Kallistos will celebrate Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Mother of God "Joy of All Who Sorrow" on Geary Boulevard. The later Liturgy will begin at 9:30 am.
