Holy Trinity Monastery Celebrates Holy Pentecost (Photo-Report)

On Sunday, June 23, 2013, the feast day of Holy Pentecost, His Grace Bishop George of Mayfield, Vicar of the Eastern American Diocese, led the celebration of Divine Liturgy and great vespers with the reading of the kneeling prayers at Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY. His Grace was joined by the monastery's abbot, Archimandrite Luke (Murianka), the monastic brethren and visiting clergymen. The next morning, the feast day of the Holy Spirit, His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, celebrated Divine Liturgy together with many clergymen on the monastery's feast day.

During the trapeza luncheon that followed His Eminence congratulated Fr Luke, the monks and pilgrims. In his response, Archimandrite Luke expressed gratitude to the Primate of the Russian Church Abroad, Bishop George, the visiting clergymen and pilgrims for participating in their feast-day celebrations.
