Metropolitan Hilarion Heads Divine Services on the Elevation of the Cross of the Lord at Ascension Convent on the Mt of Olives

On Friday, September 27, 2013, the feast day of the Elevation of the Life-Giving Cross of the Lord, His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, celebrated Divine Liturgy at the Convent of the Ascension of the Lord on the Mt of Olives, Jerusalem. On the eve of the celebration, he performed all-night vigil with Archimandrite Roman (Krassovsky), Chief of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem, and the clergymen of the Mission and visiting pilgrims.
