On November 21, 2013, the feast day of Archangel Michael and the Bodiless Heavenly Host, His Eminence Archbishop Kyrill of San Francisco and Western America of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia celebrated Divine Liturgy at Kazan Cathedral in the city of Nakhodka, in Russia’s Far East. His Eminence was joined by His Grace Bishop Nikolai of Nakhodka and Preobrazhensk and clergymen of his diocese and of the Russian Church Abroad. During the ambo prayer, the bishops and clergymen performed a short moleben to the Most-Holy Mother of God and Archangel Michael. The miracle-working Kursk-Root Icon was brought to Kazan Cathedral in Nakhodka on November 18.
