A Long-Time Clergyman of the Russian Church Abroad is Given an Award

On Thursday, May 22, 2014, the feast day of the Translation of the Relics of St Nicholas of Myra the Miracle-worker, during his archpastoral visit to the Diocese of Australia and New Zealand, His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York celebrated Divine Liturgy in St Nicholas Church in Fairfield (Sydney). During the minor entrance, His Eminence bestowed the miter upon Protopriest Nikitia Chemodakov in recognition of his many years of service to the Church.
