Bishop George of Canberra Arrives at His New Cathedra

On Bright Thursday, April 16, 2015, His Grace Bishop George of Canberra, Vicar of the Diocese of Australia and New Zealand of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, arrived in Sydney. He was greeted by the Senior Priest of SS Peter and Paul Cathedral, Protopriest George Lapardin, the Rector of St Seraphim Church in Brisbane, Priest Gabriel Lapardin, and Protodeacon Alexander Kotlaroff of the cathedral.

Bishop George first went to the diocesan headquarters, where he was warmly welcomed by His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion, First Hierarch of ROCOR. After praying at the Church of All Russian Saints, Vladyka George was invited to breakfast by Metropolitan Hilarion along with the other clergymen and guests.
