The Feast Day of St John of Shanghai and San Francisco the Miracle-Worker is Celebrated at the Cathedral of the Mother of God "Joy of All Who Sorrow" (Photo-report)

On Saturday, July 4, 2015, the feast day of St John (Maximovich) of Shanghai and San Francisco the Miracle-worker, His Eminence Archbishop Kyrill of San Francisco and Western America officiated at Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Mother of God "Joy of All Who Sorrow" in San Francisco, CA. He was joined by His Grace Bishop Paisie of Timisoara (Romanian Orthodox Church); His Grace Bishop Theodosius of Seattle; His Grace Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan and a large gathering of clergymen, to the singing of the Cathedral Choir under the direction of Vladimir Krassovsky, attended by a multitude of worshipers. After Liturgy, a moleben was performed, then a procession of the cross around the cathedral. The cathedral's sisterhood offered an abundant luncheon for all.
