Hegumen Makary (Butin) Reposes in the Lord

The Chief of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem of the Russian Church Abroad, Archimandrite Roman (Krassovsky), has reported that Hegumen Makary (Butin), one of the Mission's clergymen, died at the age of 40. Fr Makary was in Russia at the time, where he died of a heart attack. Over the last 8 years, Fr Makary served in Gethsemane's St Mary Magdalene Convent in Jerusalem.

We wish him eternal memory and repose with the saints!
