The Synod of Bishops Honors the Many Years of Service of Mitred Protopriest Alexander Lebedeff

The feast-day celebrations of Transfiguration of the Lord Cathedral in Los Angeles, CA, was headed by His Eminence Archbishop Kyrill of San Francisco and Western America, on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, along with the Senior Priest of the church, Mitred Protopriest Alexander Lebedeff, the cathedral's other clergymen and visiting clergy. In accordance with a decision of the Synod of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church outside of Russia, in recognition of the 45 years of pastoral service of Fr Alexander, during minor entrance, Archbishop Kyrill awarded him the right to wear a second ornamented pectoral cross.
