Archbishop Kyrill of San Francisco and Western America Consecrates a New Men’s Monastery in his Diocese

On September 24, 2015, the feast day of St Silouan of Mt Athos, His Eminence Archbishop Kyrill of San Francisco and Western America celebrated Divine Liturgy and consecrated a new men's monastery in honor of the saint. The new monastery is located in Sonora, CA. His Grace Bishop Theodosius of Seattle participated in the services, as did the monastery’s abbot, Archimandrite Irinei (Steenberg), clergymen of the Western American Diocese and representatives of other Local Orthodox Churches.
