The Schedule for Feast-Day Celebration at San Francisco’s Cathedral of the Mother of God “Joy of All Who Sorrow” and the Episcopal Consecration of Archimandrite Irenei (Steenberg) as Bishop of Sacramento

On November 5-6, 2016, the Cathedral of the Mother of God “Joy of All Who Sorrow” in San Francisco, CA, will celebrated its feast day, which will coincide with the episcopal consecration of Archimandrite Irenei (Steenberg) as Bishop of Sacramento. His Eminence Archbishop Kyrill of San Francisco and Western America will officiate.

Schedule:

Saturday, November 5, 2016:
4:30 pm: Greeting of His Eminence Archbishop Kyrill of San Francisco and Western America.
4:45 pm: The rite of nomination of Archimandrite Irenei (Steenberg) as Bishop of Sacramento.
5:30 pm: All-night vigil.

Sunday, November 6, 2016
9:00 am: Greeting of Archbishop Kyrill.
9:10 am: Rite of the Confession of the Faith.
9:30 am: Divine Liturgy, moleben and procession of the cross, festive trapeza luncheon in the new cathedral hall.
