Funeral Schedule for Archdeacon Eugene Burbelo at the Synodal Cathedral of Our Lady “of the Sign”
Saturday, April 8: The Raising of Righteous Lazarus.
The body of Archdeacon Eugene will be greeted with a funerary litiya at 8:45.
Hierarchal Divine Liturgy at 9:30, followed by a pannikhida.
All-night vigil with the blessing of the bread at 6 pm.
Sunday, April 9: The Entrance of the Lord Into Jerusalem.
Hierarchal Divine Liturgy at 9:30 am followed by a pannikhida.
Passion matins at 6 pm.
Monday, April 10: Passion Monday.
Liturgy of the Pre-Sanctified Gifts at 9:30 am.
Funeral at 11:30 am.
The burial will take place at Novo-Diveevo Convent in Nanuet, NY.
The friends and relatives of Fr Eugene request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Holy Trinity Seminary in Jordanville, NY, or "Russian Gift of Life USA Children's Charity.
