On Saturday, May 13, 2017, as part of a visit to the USA, His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, President of the Department of External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, led all-night vigil at St John the Baptist Cathedral in Washington, DC. He was joined in the service by His Eminence Metropolitan Jonah, former Primate of the Orthodox Church in America, His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk, Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, Protopriest Victor Potapov, Senior Priest of the Cathedral, and his clergymen.
