The Clergymen and Parishioners of Archangel Michael Church in Cannes Help Kazan Church Near Donetsk

The parish of Archangel Michael Church in Cannes, France, has posted a Russian-language report on their humanitarian aid effort to the Kazan Church of the Mother of God parish near Donetsk.

Abbess Anna of a convent near Volnovakh, Donbass, has already been receiving aid from the Cannes parishioners, and asked that they help Kazan Church as well. The town of Mariinka is in the combat zone where soldiers and militia from the two sides of the local conflict are stationed.

Friends of the parish in Kharkov offered to purchase and deliver humanitarian aid to Mariinka, and were able to do so thanks in part to Archangel Michael Parish in Cannes.
