Bishop Theodosius of Seattle Visits the Victims of the Wildfires in Norther California

On Sunday, October 29, 2017, His Grace Bishop Theodosius of Seattle, First Vicar of the Western American Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, celebrated Divine Liturgy at SS Peter and Paul Church in Santa Rosa, CA. Fourteen families of the parish and of St Seraphim of Sarov of the Orthodox Church in America lost their homes and property.

After the service, Vladyka Theodosius read an epistle from His Eminence Archbishop Kyrill of San Francisco and Western America, and gave each family a printed icon of St John of Shanghai and San Francisco the Miracle-worker. The faithful shared a trapeza luncheon with the hierarch in the large parish hall. A detailed report on the event and video are posted here.
