St John the Baptist Cathedral in the nation's capital prepares to celebrate 70th anniversary

On Sunday, September 8, 2019, His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York will officiate at the celebration of the 70th anniversary of St John the Baptist Cathedral in Washington, DC. His Eminence will celebrate Divine Liturgy, then consecrate a memorial to St John of Kronstadt, erected on the church premises on the 55th anniversary of his canonization by the Russian Church Abroad.
