On the feast day of Venerable Hilarion, Schemamonk of the Caves, the First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad led a prayerful commemoration of his predecessor (photo-report)
 On Friday, November 3, 2023, the feast day of Venerable Hilarion, Schemamonk of the Kiev Caves, and the namesday of the ever-memorable Metropolitan Hilarion, His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, celebrated early Divine Liturgy at Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY.
Concelebrating with His Eminence were Bishop Luke of Syracuse, monastic clergy, seminarians, and guests in the priesthood. During the service, a special prayerful commemoration was made of the ever-memorable Metropolitan Hilarion, who died on May 3/16, 2022, the feast day of St Theodosius of the Caves.
On the same day, His Eminence performed a pannikhida at the grave of Vladyka Hilarion and offered the brethren and seminarians a memorial luncheon.
