The Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia holds a prayer service in memory of His Beatitude Metropolitan Anthony (Khrapovitsky) on the 90th anniversary of his passing

On Monday, August 10, 2026, the day marking the repose of His Beatitude Metropolitan Anthony (Khrapovitsky), who passed away in Sremski Karlovci 90 years ago, His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America and New York served a memorial service at the end of the Divine Liturgy at St Sergius of Radonezh Church of the Synodal Residence in New York.

The requiem chants were performed by a choir under the direction of Abbot Zosima (Krampis).

At the end of the service, His Eminence said a few words of edification dedicated to the memory of the first Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad.

His Eminence also commemorated the recently-reposed Xenia, daughter of Archpriest Alexander and Manefa Borodin, who have been serving in the deanery of Queensland in the Australian-New Zealand Diocese.
