The Young Pilgrims of the Russian Church Abroad Visit Mount Tabor, Cana of Galilee and Nazareth (photo-report)
On July 11, the pilgrims of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia ascended the peak of Mount Tabor where they visited a Greek church dedicated to the Transfiguration of the Lord; they also visited a Catholic cathedral. On the eve, at the foot of Mount Tabor, Priest Serafim Gan held a discussion with the youth on the spiritual and moral significance of the Twelve Feast Days and Orthodox Christian dogma.
In Cana of Galilee, His Grace Bishop Peter read the Gospel passage of the first miracle of our Lord Jesus Christ, which He performed at a wedding reception, and in Nazareth, the pilgrims visited the house of Joseph the Betrothed and the wellspring of the Mother of God, where they sang an akathist to Her.
